How to Prepare Your Pittsburgh Driveway for Dumpster Delivery

We treat every driveway like our own — but a little prep on your end makes the drop-off go faster and cleaner, especially on the steeper Pittsburgh and Mon Valley properties we work on every day.
First, clear the drop zone. Move cars, garbage cans, basketball hoops, and anything else within about 60 feet of where the dumpster will sit. Our trucks need straight-line access to back in and roll the container off — that can be tight on narrow streets in Homestead, Munhall, or Glassport.
Look up too. Low branches, power lines, and gutters can all block the truck's mast. If you're not sure about clearance, send us a photo before delivery day.
Pick a flat surface if possible. We set up on concrete, asphalt, dirt, and stone. Grass is case by case — soft ground after a Pittsburgh rainstorm can be tricky.
And finally: walk the route once before we arrive. Anything you'd rather we not drive over (sprinkler heads, sidewalk lights, soft soil) — let us know and we'll plan around it.
